Complaints

In unlikely  event  of a complaint .- it should  be dealt  with at the time of occurrence, where ever possible. However,  should any visitor feel the need to email or telephone any grievance felt after their stay - please be assured that it will be taken most  seriously and dealt  with to mutual satisfaction.

Deposit Payments

Holding Deposit payments are gratefully received as security for bookings made on nights during the High Season (April - September) . In the event  of us being unable to provide the booking party with a room at the Lodge or similar room in a nearby location, the deposit shall be returned in full to either the booking or third party accommodation provider. Glen Albyn Lodge also reserves the right to not be responsible for any relocation or excess payments, in the event of not being able to provide a non-holding deposit booked guest with room(s) due to any emergencies or any matters beyond their control. However, full assistance shall be provided to help with all such incidents of unavailability.

Payments House Rules

We have a strictly NO SMOKING policy in the house, however for those that must  we have provided your own bench

and sand box under the spruce tree - anyone found smoking in the house shall be asked to leave.

Late cancellation - no show

We retain the right to charge a “late cancellation fee” or issue a “No Show” invoice (basic loss of earnings) in the event

of the late cancellation of a room or if guests do not show up without good reason or notification.

It should be understood that any payment or deposit paid to us  may be used to offset any losses made by cancellation.


In the event of cancellation, we shall make every effort to find replacement booking s for the room(s) and if successful no losses shall be incurred and the deposit shall be returned if held.

Check in - Check out Times

Check-in times are normally between 4 pm and 9 pm - other times after prior arrangement by telephone or email.

Those delayed by flights / transfers or shopping sprees are kindly requested to call us with an estimated time of arrival.


Check-out time - Rooms to be vacated by 10 am unless by prior arrangement
